At Yeita: building products for employees and leveling the team up on AI, through a weekly ritual, volunteer champions and tools that tackle real pain points.
At Yeita as everywhere, AI arrived with its share of promises and worries. The risk: a team split in two, between those testing on their own and those not daring to touch it. The point was never to impose tools, but to build a shared understanding: where this technology comes from, what it can do, where it stops, and how it can serve the craft and the clients.
Personal exploration first: testing, failing, documenting. Then identifying the champions, the people willing to spend time exploring and testing AI. They are how knowledge circulates through the team.
A weekly meeting on Friday afternoons: testing, transmitting, sharing. The support aims at a holistic understanding of AI (where it comes from, how it works) rather than just the finished product like GPT. Research is fed into internal channels and gamified with quizzes, so that people joining along the way can ramp up quickly.
Identifying use cases at Yeita and answering them with different types of AI: assistants to write prompts, produce content or use cases; simple transcription agents offering several output formats depending on the audio; Lovable tests to solve the specific problem of a consultant on a mission; and documenting the progress, from discovery to delivery, up to integrating a design system into Figma Make.
A living community, knowledge that circulates, and tools that answer real pain points. With failures owned: Relume for Webflow didn't pay off, and some workshops drew small crowds, keeping a ritual alive takes energy over time. The course never changed: supporting people without scaring them. AI is not here to replace, but to make the craft more efficient and bring more value, to the team and to clients.
